Wig Making Classes
Our wig making certification classes are broken down into three different areas of study
1) Machine made wigs
2) Hand tied wigs
3) Wig repair and customizations
Machine Made Wigs
The machine wig making certification class is a two day class. You will get a supply list detailing the items you will need to bring to class or you can purchase a kit from the school.

On Day 1: We will cover the following topics

Tools needed for wig making

Sewing machine, it's different parts and how to use your sewing machine

Client consultation and mold making
-
Practice stitching
-
Begin mapping out your unit

On Day 2: We will cover the following topics
-
Making closure unit
-
Making frontal (Glueless & Glued) *
Wig Repairs & Customizations
The wig repair and customization certification class is a two day class. You will get a supply list detailing the items you will need to bring to class or you can purchase a kit from the school. The actual unit you will work on will need to be supplied by you. One human and one synthetic. Will need to have experience in wig construction and how to use a sewing machine.

On Day 1: We will cover the following topics

Basic ventilation techniques and wip stitching

How to patch holes and rips

How to enlarge or take in units

How to customize the hairline

On Day 2: We will cover the following topics

How to replace closures, frontals, caps

How to custom color

Tips for restyling synthetic units
Hand-Tied Wigs
The hand-tied wig making certification class is a two day class. This will be a weekend boot camp (Intro) class. Advanced ventilating (hand-tied) wig making certification classes coming soon. You will receive a supply list of items you will need to bring to class or you can purchase a kit from the school. Some items will have to be supplied by you which will be indicated on the list. The skills learned in this class can be used to making custom closures, frontals, hairlines and repairs.
