Phase 1 — Foundations and Confidence (Hours 0–300) Focus:

Theory, safety, and core fundamentals

Manikin → supervised models; early client intros

1–2 field trips

Milestones: theory/safety benchmarks, first supervised client
Phase 2 — Advanced Skills and Salon Readiness (Hours 301–650) Focus:

Advanced cutting, color, texture, extensions; brows/skin/makeup

Increased clientele in the Student Salon

Weekly PSI Practical focus with timed drills

Milestones: service quotas, retail/rebooking goals, PSI-timed checkoffs
Phase 3 — Mastery, Business, and Career Launch (Hours 651–1000) Focus:

Majority of hours on Student Salon clients

Comprehensive mock exams (written + practical)

Business, branding, pricing, booking systems; resume + portfolio

Final Project: create and present a cohesive hair + makeup + nails look (inspiration, products/formulas, timing, finished photos)

Milestones: pass mock exams; career plan finalized; licensure scheduling support

Tue–Sat, 9:00 am–3:30 pm

Sat, 9:00 am–3:30 pm

State board readiness (PSI)

Phase 2: weekly PSI Practical rotations (sanitation, thermal curling, haircutting, chemical waving, relaxer/soft curl, haircoloring, skin/nail as applicable)

Phase 3: full mock practicals with scoring and corrective labs
