Will I need a laptop? Yes, you will need a laptop or tablet for the remote class.
What Is the Tuition for the Cosmetology Operator Program? The tuition for the Cosmetology Operator Program is $11,000. Please note, this amount does not include the cost of your kit, textbooks, CIMA Milady platform access, student permit, fees, or taxes.
What Is the Tuition for the Hair Weaving Program? The tuition for the Hair Weaving Program is $3,500. This price does not include the cost of your kit, textbooks, student permit, fees, or taxes.
How to Apply to The Beauty Pro University Complete Your Application, Essay & Pay the $100 Application Fee Begin your journey by filling out our online application form and submitting a 300-word essay explaining why you want to become a beauty professional and why you want to attend The Beauty Pro University. A $100 non-refundable application fee is required to process your application. Schedule Your Prospective Student Interview Once your application is received, we’ll contact you within 24 hours to schedule your prospective student interview. This interview helps us determine if you’re a great fit for our close-knit, driven community—and gives you the chance to ask questions and see if our school is the right fit for you. Application Review & Enrollment Decision Our admissions team will carefully review your application and essay. You’ll be notified of your enrollment determination as soon as possible. Enrollment Meeting & Deposit If accepted, you’ll be invited to an enrollment meeting to finalize paperwork and discuss next steps. A deposit will be due at this time, ranging from $2,000 – $2,800* depending on your chosen program. (*Deposit amount may change without notice.) Secure Your Spot—Limited Space Available Our Beauty Pro cohorts are intentionally small to provide hands-on learning and personalized support. Space is limited, so secure your place early to guarantee your seat in the next available class.
What is the class schedule for The Beauty Pro University? At The Beauty Pro University, we offer both day and evening class schedules to fit your needs: Day Schedule: Tuesday: Virtual classes from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Wednesday & Thursday: In-person classes from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM Friday & Saturday: Each week, one day is in-person and the other is virtual (alternating). Both days run from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Example: If Friday is in-person, Saturday will be virtual, and the next week will switch. Evening Schedule: Tuesday: Virtual classes from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM Wednesday & Thursday: In-person classes from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM Saturday: Classes from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, alternating each week between in-person and virtual. Our flexible schedule makes it easy for students with work, family, or other commitments to pursue their cosmetology education in Arlington, TX.
How long does each program take to complete? Cosmetology Operator: 9 months (full-time) or 13 months (part-time) Hair Weaving: 3.5 to 4 months Our programs are designed to help students complete their beauty education efficiently and prepare for state licensing and careers in cosmetology.
Are there payment plans or financial aid options? Yes! We offer financing through TFC and Affirm. You may also use personal loans from your local credit union or bank, as well as scholarships and grants from various organizations. Note: We do not accept FAFSA, federal financial aid, or VA benefits at this time.
What’s included in the tuition and kit? Your tuition covers the hourly cost to attend The Beauty Pro University (currently $11.00 per hour). Kit includes: Bag for all supplies Blow dryer, flat iron, curling iron Combs, brushes, shears, capes, student apron Eyelash extension tweezers Manikin heads (3) and tripod Color brush and bowl Acrylic nail kit, facial supplies Top brands: Babyliss, Skinscript, Pro Quality Tools Milady CIMA platform (digital and physical textbook) Lessons from Redken, Milani, Matrix, and business skills training and more
Is job placement support available? Yes! We provide career preparation through salon tours, guest speakers, networking, portfolio development, resume help, and mock interviews. We post job announcements and connect students with companies and salon owners. Placement Rate: 100% since December 2024. Students get real-world insights into hiring, training, and pay structures. Please note: While we support your job search, we cannot guarantee placement. Your outcome depends on your effort and participation.

What are the requirements to enroll? Be at least 16 years old Provide a Social Security card and government-issued ID High school diploma is not required
What’s the maximum class size? Each cohort is limited to 10 students to ensure personalized attention and a supportive learning environment.

What types of careers can I pursue after graduation? Our graduates go on to become: Salon stylists, makeup artists, business owners, educators, platform artists, product developers, TV/film/print artists, salon managers, hair loss specialists, advanced manicurists, advanced estheticians, beauty editors, brand educators, and more.
Are supplies and products provided for practice? Yes! You’ll use a combination of items from your kit and products supplied by the school. Students are responsible for replacing any lost or used-up kit items and providing personal supplies (pens, notebooks, binders) as needed for classes and exams.
Who teaches the classes? All classes are led by licensed instructors with real industry experience, including our Master Educator and CEO, Shauntavia.
Is there support for students with busy schedules or families? We offer a flexible hybrid schedule with both day and evening class options to help students balance their education with work, family, and other commitments.
